Please do not make any changes to FSM Code requirements without prior approval from your council.
If you are collecting Individual HAF Codes you will need to collect these through Monitoring Fields and only have the FSM eligibility requirement turned on at a Project level.
Making a FSM Code Required - Application Level Requirement
It's possible to require customers to have an Free School Meal (FSM) code to book onto your Projects.
FSM Codes can be found in Records > Prospective Schools > School > Details > Free School Meals Code.
By navigating to Settings > General > General > Customers you can turn on FSM Code Required. This will mean any customer will need to input their FSM code when they register an account, the FSM code must match the school they have selected.
Making FSM Eligibility Required - Project Level Requirement
At a Project level, you can ask your customers to provide their eligibility for FSM to enable them to book on.
Navigate to the Project > Booking Site > Participant Booking Criteria. Under this field you can select from the drop down list whether to made the booking only for FSM eligible customers, allow both FSM eligible and non-eligible customers, or only non-eligible customers.
Once this is turned on customers will be asked whether they are eligible for FSM. If you have also turned on FSM Code requirement at an Application Level, if the customer selects Yes to FSM eligibility, they will then be asked to input their FSM code.
