Using Credit or Deposits

We offer an option to book now and pay later through our Credit feature, which allows parents the flexibility to reserve sessions and settle the payment at a later time.

How to Enable Credit

To activate this feature:

  • Go to Settings > General > Credit & Deposits.

  • Enable both "Use of Credit" and "Enable Credit Limits".

Once enabled, a checkbox labelled "Allow Use of Credit" will appear in the Booking Site tab within each of your projects. This allows you to specify on a project-basis whether customers can book and defer payment.

Note: You will also need to make sure that the Credit and Deposits option is turned on within Settings > General by selecting the tickbox in the "Active" column.

Setting a Credit Limit

To manage how much credit customers can use before needing to clear their balance:

  • In Settings > General > Credit & Deposits, enter a value in the Default Credit Limit field.

You can also customise the credit limit for individual customers:

  • Navigate to Customers from the left-hand menu.

  • Select a customer and update the Credit Limit field accordingly.


Using the Deposits Feature

As an alternative to credit, the Deposits feature allows customers to partially pay for bookings up front, with the remainder due later.

How to Enable Deposits

To turn on deposits:

  • Go to Settings > General > Credit & Deposits.

  • Scroll to the bottom and enable the "Enable Deposits" option.

  • Set a minimum deposit amount per participant and define the maximum number of active deposits allowed per customer.

Note: Please be aware that Credits and Deposits cannot be used at the same time. You must choose one feature to activate, depending on your preferred payment method setup.
