Waiting List

The waiting list feature allows customers to join a waiting list when a booking has sold out. When a space becomes available this can either be offered to the customer or an alternative session or project can be offered as a substitute. An email will be sent to the customer, If the customer does not reply within a defined time the space can be offered to the next customer on the waiting list.

Enabling or Disabling Waiting Lists

To turn waiting lists on or off in the app, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Go to General > Customers.

  3. Tick or untick the checkbox labeled Enable Waiting Lists.

  4. Go to the project you would like to enable Waiting Lists for.

  5. Tick the "Enable Waiting List" field.

Turning this setting off will prevent new participants from being added to the waiting list.

By turning on Waiting Lists, once the project is fully booked, the customers will be able to join the waiting list via the booking site.

My project still says it's fully booked even though waiting lists are turned off?

If bookings are still showing as fully booked even after disabling the waiting list, you may need to clear participants from the remaining waiting list manually. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Navigate to Bookings > Waiting List.

  2. Check if there are any participants listed.

  3. Remove participants by clicking the bin icon.

This will ensure the booking site opens up for new reservations.
