Introduction to HAFP
Updated over a week ago

In this article you can find a complete collection of information to get you started with your Holiday and Food Programme projects.

Top Five Tips

Take a look at our Top Five Tips for getting started with your HAFP projects.

How to Create a Project

Take a look at the video above or at our dedicated article for more detail.

Best practices:

  • Make sure you select the correct register type for your booking - HAFP Booking Site if customers are pre-booking or HAFP Names-Only for walk-in sessions.

Using Names-Only Register Type

Take a look at our article for more detailed instructions on setting up and using the Names-Only Register Type.

Best Practices:

  • When a project is complete it may disappear from your lists of projects, these can be found if you use the expanded search filters and change the Completed filter to Yes.

  • First export the empty register to get the correct format, otherwise your imported register will not upload correctly.

Display settings

To get a better understanding of the Display Settings, read our article.

Best Practices:

  • Do not collect data you do not need, turn off any Display Settings that are not needed for your reporting to allow your customers a quick booking experience.

  • Some Display Fields will be coloured in blue. These settings can be clicked on to allow for more customisation including changing names of fields and adding information for customers to see.

  • For some display settings, there may be multiple fields that are similar and make another option redundant. For example, having both the Media Consent and Photo Consent options turned on would be redundant and one option should be switched off.

  • Emergency Number should always be a required field
