(HAFP) How to create a Project
Updated over a week ago

Step 1. Creating the Project

Firstly, to create a Project you will need to navigate to your Dashboard (Which you can do by clicking on 'Bookings', then 'Dashboard', which is located on the left-hand menu bar).

Here, you have the option to choose what type of project you would like to create. This can either be a Course, Event, or Contract. The most commonly used project is the Course, as it is a booking that occurs over a long period, with weekly sessions.

Then it's just a matter of naming the project, entering the start and end dates, and any other details such as the Register Type and age range!

It is important you choose the correct register type for your project. The HAFP Booking Site register type allows your customers to book ahead of the session, while the HAFP Names Only register can be used for walk-ins.

Step 2. Creating the Blocks

A block is a period of time within a Booking. These could be a specific term, year group, or even ability group. It's as simple as just naming the block, entering the time frame for the block, and then selecting the delivery address.

Step 3. Creating the Sessions

Sessions are the event days and times themselves. These can be booked into by customers or staff for participants to take part in. You can customise them in many ways, such as the day of the week, price, and activity.

Step 4. The Booking Site

Finally, The Booking site is where customers will see your projects. This is a crucial step to ensure customers can see what sessions they are booking on to while including marketing images for better visual appeal.

Done!

At this stage, your Project is live on your booking site, ready for customers to book! To learn how to use other areas of your account, be sure to visit the other articles available in the Help Centre
